Gallery: “The California Zephyr”

Here is a picture gallery of the first chapter from the book “Rocky Mountain Railroad Odyssey“: The journey takes Erik and Frank from Chicago Union Station via Omaha to Denver and on through the Rocky Mountains. They arrive in Reno and Lake Tahoe. From there, Erik and Candice make a detour to Virginia City. Later on, he and Frank finally reach San Francisco via Truckee.

The gallery offers some impressions of such a journey, of the trains and the stations, as they appear in the novel and one could relive them with the train “California Zephyr”, on the way from Chicago to the West.
