Following the Money to “Greenland Target”

Following the Money to “Greenland Target”

The Arctic doesn’t forgive mistakes. Neither does this story: I’m delighted to announce that my latest novel, Greenland Target, will be published on 3rd December 2025. This environmental thriller takes you into the vast expanses of the North—to Greenland and Iceland—as Amelia and Erik Wiedner pursue the Thompson Complex, which has now spread its reach into the high Arctic. The book is available for pre-order now on Amazon.

The Journey North

Greenland Target is the follow-up to Scandinavian Target, and once again, I’ve invested considerable time researching the locations where the story unfolds. The remote landscapes, the mining operations carved into ice, the shipping routes through melting polar waters—I wanted every setting to feel authentic and immersive.

For months, I worked on the story’s pacing, building tension page by page and crafting dramatic turns that I hope will catch you off guard. At 500 pages, it’s become quite substantial, but every chapter earned its place.

New Faces, Familiar Struggles

For readers new to the series, I’ve woven the backstory of our two protagonists organically into the narrative. You’ll be able to follow Amelia and Erik’s journey without needing to have read the first book—though returning readers will recognise familiar faces and deeper patterns.

This time, I’ve also introduced two endearing anti-heroes: Jake and Maria. They’re not polished professionals or fearless operatives. They stumble, they struggle, and they’re often out of their depth. But it’s precisely because they don’t always succeed that their eventual discoveries and solutions feel so satisfying. Sometimes the most important breakthroughs come from unlikely sources.

What to Expect

The story explores what happens when steel begins corroding across the North Atlantic, when vessels vanish, and when the world’s attention shifts from familiar trade routes to the thawing Arctic. Amelia, the marine biologist, and Erik, the journalist, find themselves navigating a landscape where science meets secrecy, where corporate interests clash with environmental reality, and where cooperation might be the last form of resistance available.

It’s a geopolitical thriller, yes—but at its heart, it’s about people facing impossible choices in a world that’s changing faster than anyone can control.

The “Harpa” in Reykjavik is one of the settings in the book.

Almost Ready

Right now, I’m in the final stages of proofreading before publication. Every thriller writer knows this moment: the manuscript is essentially complete, but you read it one more time to ensure every detail lands exactly as intended.

I’m confident you’ll enjoy this journey north. Whether you’re returning to follow Amelia and Erik or discovering them for the first time, Greenland Target offers a story about nations fighting for relevance, corporations fighting for survival, and individuals learning what it means to share the tide rather than trying to turn it alone.

Mark your calendars for 3rd December 2025. I can’t wait to hear what you think – you can pre-order it now on Amazon.
