When the doors of the 75th Frankfurt Book Fair open at the exhibition center on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, “Der Passagier aus Chicago”, the German edition of the “Rocky Mountain Railroad Odyssey”, will also be there. The novel by Nils Eriksen will be at the Livro joint exhibition, located in Hall 3.0 at booth C 97. Until Sunday, October 22, trade visitors, as well as the public, can take a look at the print edition for the book trade.

The English edition under the title “Rocky Mountain Railroad Odyssey” is now also widely available in bookstores, with a focus on North America and Great Britain (here is the link, for example, to the largest US book chain “Barnes & Noble”). In November 2023, the book will also be listed in the “iPage” catalog of the distributor Ingram, which supplies bookstores as well as public libraries in many countries around the globe.

Incidentally, the Book Fair will open on Tuesday: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar will be present at the opening of the Book Fair. Slovenia is the Guest of Honor at the 2023 Fair, and Slovenian authors and poets are expected to attend under the motto “Honeycombs of Words”. The Frankfurt Book Fair will be held for the 75th time in 2023. In its anniversary year, the book fair says it wants to celebrate “good stories,” celebrate democratic discourse and “enable peaceful exchange in unpeaceful times.”

In the Livro exhibition catalog that accompanies “Börsenblatt” No. 41, there is also an entry on Nils Eriksen’s “Der Passagier aus Chicago” on page 7, top right (here is the link to the electronic edition for browsing). With this news from distribution, Nils Eriksen hopes you continue to enjoy reading.
