The adventure continues: “Cascade Target”
My new book is about to be published, entitled “Cascade Target.” It takes Erik and Amelia’s adventures to a new level as they get in the way of a crime syndicate while settling into their new life in Canada. A vacation trip turns into a wild, dangerous chase down the Canadian west coast, to Seattle, and then into the mountains, with the brutal criminals constantly on their heels. In Montana, it all comes down to a showdown. The stakes are high, as it’s all about a massive treasure hidden in the Cascade Mountains.
The prologue gives a fast-paced introduction to the history of the treasure hunt when a bank robber went on the run with two large suitcases in 1910. Many years later, Erik and Amelia get on his trail and start their own dangerous treasure hunt. The characters from “Rocky Mountain Railroad Odyssey” are involved, including Candice who plays a leading role, as does Sheriff Dwayne Watson. Their opponents, mob underboss Orson Corbyn with his henchmen Brooke Chasey and Larry Roffe, will stop at nothing to take them out.
An adventure novel with a dash of romance
“Cascade Target” picks up the storyline and characters from “Rocky Mountain Railroad Odyssey.” However, the book continues the story at a faster pace, grittier and far more action-packed than my first book. The title is a thriller, an adventure novel with a touch of romance. It marks the start of a new series with more fast-paced adventures to follow.
In Cascade Target, the protagonists also travel through North America, but the focus of the book is on the adventurous and political story. This sets the stage for a new series that follows the two protagonists on their adventures. Availabe through amazon.com.
